John W Drummond, C.A. CPP
John joined Boyd Knight in 1964 and worked his way up to be a partner in 1975. John took sole charge of the firm in January 2004. John has a vast amount of experience in accountancy dealing with a wide variety of clients covering all types of business including farming. He is especially interested in business structures, Trusts and trustee law.
He is responsible for directing the Company and for ensuring that all staff reach their potential and work to the highest standards in providing first class client service.

Peter Randle, B.Com., C A., CPA (USA)
Peter returns to Boyd Knight Ltd where he worked while completing his Bachelor of Commerce and Chartered Accountant qualifications.
Peter has spent the last 25 years in the United States of America (USA) and has also worked extensively in England, Mexico and Brazil. While in the USA Peter obtained his USA Certified Public Accountant certification and performed senior Finance & Accounting and Business Development roles at several USA Corporations. For the last twelve years Peter worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers USA advisory practice focusing on Mergers & Acquisitions and Financial Process Improvement.
Peter brings his vast experience to all our service offerings.

Irene Dards, B Com. C.A. CPP
Irene joined Boyd Knight in May 2000 as an Accountant. She has extensive business experience having worked in Singapore, Perth (Western Australia) and the United Kingdom.
She completed her Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Canterbury in 1998 majoring in Accountancy. Irene obtained her Chartered Accountancy certification in 2003.
Irene manages a number of clients' full compliance requirements and works closely with clients using the Bank Link System and is a Trained Certified Advisor with Xero

Carol Bisseker, A.C.A
Carol joined the firm in April 2004 as an accountant. She has a Bachelor of Business Studies from the Open Polytechnic of New Zealand and is an Associate Chartered Accountant.
She has always worked for CA firms leaving her last employer after seventeen years. She has undertaken a variety of roles, including business services, tax planning and is interested in company statutory compliance. Carol also has experience in assisting voluntary organisations and charitable trusts, involving budgeting and cash flow projections

Shane Ren, B Com. C. A .
Shane has been with Boyd Knight since 2005, having spent the first couple of years of his accounting career with a local publishing company.
Other than managing a number of clients’ full compliance and audit requirements, Shane also does consulting work in the areas of business valuation, business plan, due diligence, finance applications and outsourcing. Shane has recently assisted a local manufacturing company in setting up a branch in Asia.
Outside of work, Shane enjoys road cycling, swimming and spending time with his young family.

Gaynor Drummond
Gay joined the firm in December 2004 after many years in Banking. Gay manages the firm’s administration and reception areas.

Karen joined the firm in January 2011.
